The Hello Fit Personal Trainer Diploma is a Combined Level 2/3 qualification from Wellbeing Fitness Education Centre. It is designed for practical people who want hands-on experience that equips them to do the job from the day they finish, not just weeks of online theory with little connection to real life.
The course is delivered by Rich and Katie Mitchell, both working coaches who understand exactly what clients and employers want from a newly qualified PT. Every session is grounded in real practice, delivered inside Hello Fit’s award-winning gym.
You do not need any prior fitness qualifications to enrol. Designed to take you from enthusiast to qualified PT, whether you are entirely new to the industry or already working in a gym.
Sessions are taught once every other week so you can study alongside your current job or family commitments. The ten-week structure gives you time to absorb and practise what you learn between workshops.

Work as a PT or gym instructor in any gym in the UK. Your Level 2/3 diploma is the industry standard qualification required by virtually every employer in the sector.
Set up your own personal training business. Work in clients’ homes, hire gym floor space, use outdoor locations or run sessions online. Build your own hours and rates from day one.
Build a client base entirely online. Design programmes, track progress and coach via video call. Many qualified PTs now run fully remote businesses alongside or instead of in-person work.

Yes. The Combined Level 2/3 diploma is validated by Focus Awards, regulated by Ofqual and recognised by CIMSPA, AIT and Thinktree Hub. It is accepted at any gym or fitness facility in the UK and internationally. You can use it to apply for employed roles or to set up your own business anywhere.
Over the ten-week course you attend approximately five practical workshop days, held every other week. Between sessions you complete coursework through the student hub at your own pace. This means a typical week alternates between a workshop day and an independent study week, giving you time to absorb and practise what you have learned.
